The GenerationOne technology platform was designed to offer flexibility across all aspects of our solution.
- Our solution can be implemented as an enhancement to a current program or launched as a stand-alone program for a target population.
- Medical protocols provided by our customers can be easily integrated into our proprietary mobile phone and network solution.
- Our advanced medical scripts and content can be integrated into compatible mobile devices and existing wellness and disease management programs.
The GenerationOne Platform
The GenerationOne solution is an Application Service Provider (ASP) offering, managed by GenerationOne. It is built on a robust, scalable, and extensible technology platform based a combination of on open standards and best-of-breed custom components. All our components are loosely coupled, providing customers with complete flexibility in selecting which modules they wish to utilize. Data communications using open industry standards facilitates easy integration with our clients’ technical platforms.
GenerationOne is a member of the Continua Health Alliance and HL7, which are working to develop standards that will allow interoperability of the technology used in telemedicine. Our participation with these bodies demonstrates our commitment to open standards and communication protocols. The GenerationOne system is run within a Tier-1 hosting center. External systems such as third party PHR, Google Health, and client EHR/EMR systems are loosely coupled through HL7 CCD or ASTM CCR messaging.
Privacy and Security
GenerationOne has implemented the physical, organizational, and technical safeguards needed to protect the confidentiality and ensure the integrity of our customers’ information. Our servers are hosted at a Tier-1 service provider whose controls meet or exceed HIPAA guidelines.
- We host each customer on a separate virtual server. Our robust application security model prevents one GenerationOne customer from accessing another’s data.
- We encrypt all communications with VeriSign Certification.
- We allow access only with a valid username and password combination, which is encrypted while in transmission.
- We ensure that all data that is provided by a consumer is owned by that consumer and available only to authorized users.
- Our controls, policies, standards, and procedures meet or exceed the requirements of HIPAA.
Medical reminders plus images of prescribed drugs are delivered via mobile phones to help ensure medication compliance.
