Managing my health through mobile sounds great.

How does it work?

The GenerationOne solution is designed to fit simply into your life. We know the only way to empower you towards better health is to help you maintain consistent health routines.

It’s complicated to keep up with instructions for prescriptions, exercise, diet requirements, and other activities your doctor recommends.

You’re not alone. 80% of all patients forget their doctor’s instructions within ten minutes of hearing them, and often leave their physician’s unclear about prescriptions, dosage, and other medical directions.

Here’s how we work with you:
GenerationOne delivers sophisticated medical content to help individuals proactively manage conditions.

Diabetes Asthma
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Obesity
Congestive Heart Failure Wellness Activities

Designing a health program just for you.
GenerationOne integrates an approved medical program, based on your medical condition, into the GenerationOne health phone or compatible phone.

Reminders and alerts.
The purpose of these programs is to remind you about the things you need to do and to guide you about how to better manage your condition or to promote wellness. You receive simple reminders on your mobile phone asking you to take medications and conduct prescribed activities. When it is time to perform activities such as testing your blood or taking medication, the phone alerts you and provides the instructions of what to do, including images of the medication shown on the phone. You may be asked a series of questions that you can answer by pressing buttons on your mobile device. If you have a serious condition, at times you may be asked additional questions that will help further assess your current health status.

Ongoing personalized health assessment.
The results are automatically transmitted to our database and can trigger alerts (fax, email, or text message) to clinicians, caregivers, or to your Healthcare Professional, if necessary. This allows for changes to be made with care routines or prescriptions, averting a health crisis.

Once the information is analyzed you may receive specific instructions about taking action, if necessary. For example, if you are a diabetic and your glucose levels are low, the system would prompt you to take the appropriate action, such as eating carbohydrates, or to contact your physician and/ or seek out emergency treatment in severe cases.

Staying Connected to Your Community of Care.
The information collected is also stored in your online Personal Health Record. You can grant access to physicians, caregivers, family members or others who may play a role in monitoring your care. If any issue arises that generates an alert, the alert will also appear in the PHR.
